Neta ji has taken a firm step towards combating plastic pollution by launching a citywide plastic-free campaign. This initiative aims to create awareness about the harmful effects of plastic on the environment and encourage citizens to switch to sustainable alternatives.
With the support of party workers, local NGOs, and volunteers, the campaign will focus on cleaning plastic waste from streets, markets, and public spaces. Educational sessions will be held at schools and community centers to emphasize the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling.
As part of this movement, eco-friendly kits with cloth bags and reusable bottles will be distributed to participants. A dedicated portal will track the city’s progress toward reducing plastic usage, with achievements celebrated annually. Neta ji has announced that the most active contributors will be honored in a grand ceremony next year.
Neta ji highlighted the significance of this initiative, saying:
“Plastic pollution is a global crisis, but change begins at home. Together, we can make our city a shining example of sustainability for the world.”
